INVENTORY CONTROL RECEIVER / QUALITY INSPECTOR
General Functions:
- Verify items received by checking identifying information; inspecting condition and comparing specifications of items to purchase order and/or packing list.
- Will work from engineering drawings to perform accurate inspection.
- Ensure records and product history files are maintained per ISO and FDA requirements.
- Ensure finished products or components meet company, regulatory and quality standards.
- Ensure all inspections, non-conformance and re-work results are accurately documented. And provide legible and complete documentation according the company internal procedures.
- Ensure full inspection of returned and reworked products and records are accurately kept.
- Monitor all quality issues for inbound production related products; provide feedback and support to customer service; work with procurement and Management to communicate and help resolve subcontractor’s quality issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree is desired.
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings .
- Experience using inspection devices (i.e.calipers, gauge pins, etc.) is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of quality inspection in a highly regulated medical device, pharmaceutical or aerospace company.
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must demonstrate organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management.
