SPINE PRODUCTS DESIGN ENGINEER 

DUTIES:

Perform highly complex engineering duties associated with the development of implant and instrument systems utilize knowledge of medical device manufacturing. Create 3D solid models and production drawings for implants, instruments and fixtures.  Review and approve implant and instrument designs and drawings. Participate in Design Control process including Project Planning, FMEA Studies, Design Reviews, DHF creation, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

Should have proven experience participating in spine instrumentation product development. Should be familiar with FDA, ISO-13485 and CE marking requirements. Knowledge of orthopedic environment and basic human anatomy. Working knowledge of 3D CAD systems (SolidWorks a must). M.S. Mechanical Engineering followed by at least 2 years proven spine instrumentation development experience.
